Carnival 2016….Brasil!
The actual annual dates of Carnival differ and depend on when it is Easter in that particular year, as Carnival will be 40 days before Easter. Easter is celebrated on the Sunday following the first full moon in Spring.
According to this, in the years to come Carnaval Sunday will be on the following dates:
2016 : 7th of February
Usually the entire event lasts from Thursday before until Tuesday after, local customs reserved.
