Is the world ready to bounce? Iggy in India!
From Australia to India. Iggy Azalea goes global in Bollywood-themed video for “Bounce,” the second U.K. single off her debut The New Classic. The Aussie rap sensation soaks up the culture in the colorful clip. She dances in saris and rides an elephant through the streets of Mumbai.
The shoot was a dream come true for the 22-year-old, who recently inked a deal with Island Def Jam. “Shooting ‘Bounce’in India was surreal,” Iggy told Rap-Up TV. “It’s just so crazy to dream something so big and actually see it happen.”
She hopes the video will inspire others. “I think record labels need to reinvest in doing stuff like that,” said Iggy. “It helps create the fantasy and the bigness of an artist. This video definitely perpetuates escapism.”
