I was fortunate enough to visit Marlborough wine country in New Zealand. It was wonderful. We sat in the cellar, in huge decorative chairs around a large table with ornate light fixtures &#8211; it was full of ambience. We were each provided with 3 samples of Sauvignon Blanc each from a single vineyard. Gooseberries, citrus, grass &#8211; all full of flavor and aroma. We were tell given beakers and asked to make our own blends to taste how the wine changes depending on the vineyard. It was truly exciting.
