It is June 1st and I am exactly 1 month away from the next long weekend! The last long weekend was in May and a number of my friends embarked on mini breaks or planned wonderful trips around this holiday weekend. It meant an extra day off work – why not take full advantage of it!<\/p>\n

New York City, Italy, Boston and Miami to name a few of these great destinations. I stayed home or as I like to call it I stayed “local”. It sounds cooler – doesn’t it? I had an amazing weekend but (there is always a but) I secretly wanted to be somewhere else to hear, smell and feel the vibe of another city\/country. It is the traveller in me – the thirst for adventure. I get excited just thinking about it.<\/p>\n

Throughout that dreaded, oh I mean lovely, weekend in May I day dreamed about all the exciting places I could have been and about all the fun my friends were having. I “really” looked forward to them coming back and hearing about all the fun they had – regardless of the trip envy they are my friends and I love story time.<\/p>\n

Today hits the 1 month mark, where to go, what to do, July 1st is not that far away. I need a cure to my trip envy!<\/p>\n
